Empty lanes, empty streets

Well, they're meant to be empty. Sometimes you have to nip out a mile or two in order to escape the crowds. Germander speedwell looking glorious on banks.
Red campion starting up, it will be everywhere in a month or so.
Not much cover but a fair amount of camo for hares.
Soaring buzzard in the beautiful blue skies.
I want to say hawksbit but that shouldn't be out until July.
White dead nettles are buoyant this year.
Little white campion on the verge.
Below, probably hedgerow crane's-bill.
Take care this week, it's cooling off again but we could benefit from some rain.

A bit of rain would be most welcome, as long as the sun returns soon!

Lovely pictures! The weather has been beautiful! I wonder how much rain we will get. I am looking forward to the water butt being filled but I do want to be able to get out there! Loving the swing seat! We saw a few hares as we cycled on Saturday!
