I bought this dress in TK MAXX back in spring. I've worn it about 4 times this year but it's proved itself to be a great example of a wardrobe staple. As well as being an obvious choice for summer I'd like to pop a pair of tights and boots on with a jacket for a different style which can last through autumn and maybe winter too. Can gingham work all year round? I think so.
On this occasion I wore it to a lovely Sunday lunch out and a beautiful walk around a reserve.
Just as it was beginning to threaten becoming cooler the temperatures have u-turned and risen back up again. No complaints here, though just a polite request for a bit of overnight rain. Bare arms and legs return!
